In-wall and In-ceiling speakers are getting more powerful every day. Most In-wall and In-ceiling speakers produce sound from both the back and from the front. You want to keep the sound coming from the front but not from the back since that is going to reflect off the wall and comes back into the front with a delay. This creates some distortion in your listening experience. Audiotec USA is one of the first companies in the US that designed a baffle that you simply put behind the speaker to greatly absorb the sound waves that escape from the back of the speaker. The speaker baffle will give you a fuller sound and decreases the treble.
